OUR MISSION
Our mission is to see every Youth Pastor and Youth Leader that we come into relationship with fully equipped to minister to the teens God has entrusted to them. We believe that each youth ministry is unique and requires the leader to be equipped through God's Word, the Holy Spirit and Fellowship with others.
With this mission in mind we desire to
-Encourage Leaders; To lead well.
-Empower Students; To grow in the Lord.
-Engage Churches; To make ministering to youth a priority.
ENCOURAGING LEADERS
Equip Youth Leader Gatherings
THE PURPOSE OF EQUIP GATHERINGS IS TO BRING ENCOURAGEMENT AND REFRESHING TO THOSE WHO POUR INTO JR. & SR. HIGH STUDENTS.
As someone who minsters to youth you know better than anyone that times of refreshing and encouragement are vital for Christian life. However, like so many other Youth Leaders, Directors and Pastors, sometimes ministry to others can overtake ministry to yourself and family.
This gathering is for Volunteer Youth Leaders, Youth Pastors/Directors and those who are called to minister to teens.

Who We Are
Steve Carlson: National Youth Director
The APEX MINISTRY is the National Youth Ministry of the International Fellowship of Christian Assemblies or IFCA. Our purpose is to Encourage Youth Pastors and Youth Leaders, to Empower students in their faith, and engage churches to make ministering to youth a priority.

As an "in the trenches" youth pastor, Steve experienced both the blessings and struggles of ministering to youth. His passion is to encourage Youth Pastors and Leaders to lead by Christ's example and encourage Churches to make ministering to Youth a priority.
Steve currently resides in southeastern Michigan with his wife Lauren and daughter Ava. Steve also serves as the Administrative Pastor of Christ Community Church in Roseville, MI.
