Tim Tyler's Introduction

Dear IFCA Family,

Forty-three years ago, Pastor Ron Lagatta invited me to become his assistant at Bethel Christian Church in Warren, MI. He shared with me that he believed God had a calling on my life. He introduced me to the CCNA, launching an exciting journey in ministry that I could never have fully envisioned back then.

My wife, Lisa, and I went on to plant Christ Community Church in 1991, and after 35 years of

pastoring, I am deeply humbled to serve as the General Overseer of the IFCA.

On a personal note, Lisa and I have been blessed with four married children and ten grandchildren. As we look to the future, I recently announced that I will step down from Christ Community Church at the end of 2027, taking a full year to transition the leadership to my daughter and son-in-law, who have served on staff for 15 years. We are intentional about taking a full year to transition so that the ministry continues to thrive in our community for years to come.

Throughout my 43 years with the IFCA, I’ve served as an Assistant Pastor, Musical Evangelist,

and Senior Pastor, while serving on the IFCA Missions Board 12 years and 14 years on the Executive Board. This movement has poured into me for decades, and now it is my turn to pour back into it.

My passion is to impart a deep honor for the ministry, strengthen our collective purpose, and step boldly into the hope and future God has prepared for us. I believe whole-heartedly in our mission to grow churches, grow pastors, and raise up ministers, and I have a clear blueprint to build momentum across our movement.

Proverbs 29:18 reminds us, “Where there is no prophetic vision, the people cast off restraint.” A prophetic vision is for the now—walking in God's ordained timing. Too often, movements default to managing instead of leading. I am calling the IFCA to tighten its grip on our vision as God builds momentum for this next season.

Rather than relying on a formal bio, I want to connect with you directly through real

conversation, phone calls, or speaking engagements. If you are ready to step into this new season together, please feel free to reach out to me.

I look forward to speaking with you soon!

Pastor Tim Tyler
