Greetings in the Mighty Name of our God!
The purpose of my letter today is two-fold. First, it’s to remind each of you that the registration deadline for convention of July 4, 2024 will soon be upon us. If you haven’t registered yet, please take a few moments to do so (Register Online Now). Once you’ve registered, you will receive a code for making your hotel reservation. The deadline for hotel reservation is Thursday, July 10, 2024. Again, I cannot emphasize how important it is that you meet these deadlines. If you don’t, not only do you risk losing out on the discounted room rate, you may jeopardize the opportunity to get a room at all.
The second thing that I’d like to draw your attention to is in regards to the changes we sent you and that we’re looking to vote on regarding our Constitution and Bylaws. Since sending it out, we have had several spelling and grammatical mistakes brought to our attention.
With this in mind, we have updated the proposed Constitution and Bylaws accordingly, and we will be posting it on our website (find the attached file below). Moving forward, should you find any additional mistakes, please take a few moments to look over the copy posted on our website (corrections are in green font) and then if the mistake you’ve discovered hasn’t been corrected, let us know asap. Should any additional corrections be made, we will make sure to post and date a new copy on the website.
