Greetings in the Name of the One who never Slumbers or Sleeps!
As I write this letter today, I do so with our National Convention just over the horizon. As you know, in less than 3 weeks, we will be gathering together in Lancaster, PA for what I’m believing to be a time of great refreshing.
Again, our convention is not about getting away for a vacation, nor should it be deemed as an outreach to others; although there may be some overlapping of those things. Our convention is about coming together as a body of believers to be challenged, uplifted, and encouraged in our faith. It’s about coming together into God's presence and then leaving ready to take the gospel into the world that we live.
If your planning on attending our convention, let me say right up front, I look forward to being with you. After all, if you don’t enjoy spending time with God’s people here now, what makes you think you’re going to enjoy spending eternity with them in heaven?
If you’re not planning on attending, let me also say that you will be missed (Link to services online). There’s truly something special that happens when those of like precious faith come together in God’s presence. I also want to encourage you, should the Lord tarry, begin now setting your sights for 2026.
As always, may God’s richest blessings be upon you!
In His Service,
Bro. Rick George
